Germinate…
The exhibition is only open to South Australian Ceramicists in their first 5 years of practice, applications are due before 5pm, Friday June 29th. With successful applicants being notified post application.
That gives all you ‘budding’ ceramicists just under 2 months to get something together for the exhibition!
The Germinate exhibition is seeking original artworks created within the past twelve months that demonstrate the theme “new developments and diversifications from tradition in the field of ceramics”.
Applicants may present a maximum of three separate artworks for selection. The completed application form and two images each artwork (size 300dpi, maximum 10x10cm) must be emailed by 5pm on Friday 29 June 2012 to be considered for selection.
The artworks will be judged on the photographs provided by a panel of judges. Selected artworks will be those best representing the theme of Germinate. Successful applicants will be notified of the selected works by Friday 27 July 2012. Only selected works are to be exhibited.
The selection panel will also award the ‘Pug Mill SA Emerging Ceramic Artist Prize 2012’, kindly sponsored by Pug Mill Pty Ltd and to be announced on the opening night.
